I began looking for a female from the various UK lines about 3 yrs ago.. but then decided to go with a male.... and so we purchased Chad, now International Champion Faerdorn British Sterling, but in my search I kept coming across a male " CH. Klansted Out of the Mist " .... a wonderful typey, shortbacked male who had all I was looking for.. a smooth head, short back, great feet, excellent angles both front and back, good forechest , plus, he is RED ! I thought , early on , "wouldn't it be wonderful if I could get something , someday , from that kennel."   But never dreamed it might actually come true.

Then one day during Dec. of 2001 while I was helping to raise a litter here at my house, I wrote to the Show boxer list with a plea for help.. the momma dog had mastitis... what could I do... could someone help me . I got alot of help but among those responses was Chris Cray... Klansted Kennels. He gave me some suggestions but he did not stop there. He kept checking in with me day after day to see how I was doing. He was such a great emotional support for me, as well as in practical suggestions.

From that grew a friendship that I treasure. And due to that friendship, Chris offered me his lovely fawn girl, Cleo, the last puppy from his wonderful Toby. Due to our friendship I made a "trip of a lifetime" to England to visit Chris, and see all his wonderful boxers. I was even more impressed with the structure and temperaments of his dogs when I got a first hand look. Now, our darling Cleo lives in California. and she is in fact "The Sweetest of Dreams" .....for she holds the future of Espirit Boxer in her "paws" and even perhaps that of Klansted as we do hope to send a puppy back to Chris from her first litter. This girl is all I had hoped for in a foundation bitch. Since we are starting over ....going British, I could not have asked for a sweeter girl who has wonderful structure and an amazing heritage behind her.
